Privacy Policy
Short version: we run a review site, not a data business. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't collect names or payment details, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone. Here's the full picture.
1. What we collect
Two categories, both boring:
- Analytics data — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read, roughly where visitors come from (country level), what device type they use, and how they found the site. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
- Anything you send us — if you email us, we obviously receive your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it only to reply, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
2. Cookies
This site uses cookies for two purposes:
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish visits and sessions. You can block these with your browser settings or any standard cookie-blocking extension, and the site works fine without them.
- Affiliate tracking — when you click a link to Stake, the destination site may set cookies to attribute your visit to us. Those cookies belong to the destination site and are governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.
3. Affiliate links and third parties
Some links on this site are affiliate links, clearly used for the site's revenue as described on our About page. When you leave this site by clicking any external link, this policy stops applying — Stake and any other third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and you should read them.
4. What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade any visitor data
- We don't run third-party advertising networks or ad trackers
- We don't collect payment information — no transactions happen on this site
- We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under the legal gambling age; this site is strictly for adults
5. Data retention
Analytics data is retained on Google's servers according to our GA4 retention setting (14 months), after which it's automatically deleted. Emails are kept only as long as the conversation is active.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., under GDPR or similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Since the only personal data we ever hold is email correspondence, a request to our contact address handles all of it — we'll confirm within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for example, adding a newsletter or new analytics tool — this page gets updated and the effective date at the top changes. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
